Cathay Pacific has announced it will resume direct flights to Hyderabad, India.

From March 30, 2025, the Hong Kong-based carrier will operate three weekly flights upon launch before being increased to five times weekly from September 1, 2025. Cathay Pacific will use Airbus A330-300 aircraft with two cabin classes – Business and Economy.

“We are delighted to be resuming our direct flights between Hong Kong and Hyderabad. These flights will provide customers with access to one of India’s most vibrant cities, known for its rich heritage and booming technology sector,” said Lavinia Lau, Chief Customer and Commercial Officer, Cathay Group. “The resumption reaffirms our established presence in India and our commitment to enhancing our services in this important market. Our efforts to foster cultural connections and facilitate trade between our home city and India will continue as we further strengthen our network to grow and develop Hong Kong as a leading international aviation hub.”

The resumption of the Hong Kong-Hyderabad route will bring the total number of weekly return flights Cathay Pacific operates between Hong Kong and India from 31 to 39 by the end of March 2025, then 43 from September 1. Along with the five-times weekly service to Hyderabad, Cathay Pacific offers two daily flights to Delhi, 10 weekly to Mumbai, and daily flights each to Bengaluru and Chennai.

Between Hong Kong and Hyderabad, Cathay Pacific will be the only airline to offer flights on the route.
